Tattoo artists are required to be permitted by the Alamance County Health Department, Environmental Health Section, on an annual basis. If you are a tattoo artist or desire to be one, please call (336) 570-6367 or visit the Environmental Health Section at 209 N. Graham-Hopedale Road, Burlington, NC 27217 to learn what is required for a permit and/or to obtain an application for a tattooing permit.
